Delphine Rama

YO YO

Music by OmarKENOBI

Mural

Through geometric shapes and perspective play, artist Delphine Rama depicts the scene of a child in the midst of a fancy yo-yo trick. Her work is reminiscent of a time when children and teenagers around the world would spend hours trying to master yo-yo tricks. Apart from a well-researched colour scheme that expresses the environment, Rama plays with light and shadow to create depth.

Music

Filled with old school hip hop beats, funky bars and unexpected 60s throwback  samples, YO YO is a fitting soundtrack to any yo-yo showdown

Delphine Rama

Belgium-born artist Delphine Rama is currently living and working in Singapore. After completing her course in architecture, she obtained a fine arts degree from the Académie Royale des Beaux Arts. Her work features geometrical forms inspired by her love of architecture. Over the years, her approach evolved into a humanistic exploration of existentialism.
